Perfect Family Getaway with Really good Service!
We enjoyed a magical holiday stay with my husband and kids! Especially Beatrice at the front desk. Quick responses to requests and a cozy atmosphere. For breakfast, check out nearby places for better value and taste!

A work desk, coffee and tea making equipment, and a multi-channel television inside the deluxe queen room were handy. We had a satisfactory and plentiful breakfast with fruit included. The location of the hotel was incredible and best possible - not too far from Steps.

The overall feel of the facility--high quality, refined and relaxed. The location--up on the hill made for great views of the harbour. The business centre was very convenient. The food (room service) was great. I especially liked the oatmeal in the morning--what a visually appealing and delicious treat! The spinach, mushroom, etc. salad rates very high also.
Would have liked a more recent version of Microsoft word on the computers in the business Centre...some of my documents would not open (e.g., those with the extension"docx").

The Prince George offers a superb location for exploring downtown Halifax, with comfortable beds and heavenly pillows for restful nights. The staff provided friendly and efficient service. The breakfast buffet was substantial, with a variety of high-quality options. I particularly appreciated Stephanie, who always made sure we had what we needed each morning.
Paid parking was confusing due to unclear signage.

Halifax Town Clock was centrally located very close to the hotel. The staff were eager to help, particularly pleasant and always pleasant team. Truly enjoyed how the reasonably spacious and modest room with a beautiful view of the harbour was arranged when we arrived.

Location, cleanliness, modern, great parking, long time client. In the past I ahve been a client of this hotel many times for business purposes and had great service. Not this time.
I was denied my provicial government discount and was very displeased. It was not until it went to the manager in he morning that the decision was reversed. The reason I was told that I was denied was because I booked on line. As I feel thisis an advertising tool, I feel that this was not a reason and that I am the same client I was am. In the morning however, I was told that I was denied as the hotel was booked to capacity. I have never heard of this before. The manager finally reversed the decision after lengthy diecussion but still charged me $10 extra over what the clerk told me was the government rate the night before. Very poor service and not an enjoyable stay. Unfortunate as I actually love to stay here.
